Oak View Home
Our residential homes are substantial, well considered homes, located in safe places for Children to live and grow. The homes are maintained to the highest of standards and all children are encouraged to participate in communal living whilst maintaining the privacy of their own, personalised, and individual bedroom.
Oak View’s structure is focused on young people being actively involved within their home and their local communities, as well rounded, safe individuals. Each home has a high level of experienced Adults (staff) including an Ofsted Registered Manager.
Our trauma informed, nurturing approach is based on the DDP PACE model, developing healthy relationships and attachments, while positively implementing the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics to construct the supportive environment for our developing young people. We will help support our young people in managing their environment and relationships on their ongoing journey towards independence.
The adults in the home will have a high priority around safeguarding our children and young, ensuring clear professional boundaries balanced with a nurturing and genuine empathetic approach to understanding and ongoing development of the individual young person in the hope of supporting them to achieve sustainable success in their ongoing future development and outcomes.
